Understanding 4G and Is it the Same as LTE? Or Is It Different?

Understanding 4G and Is it the Same as LTE? Or Is It Different?

Some users do say that 4G networks are the same as LTE, even Broadband ISPs also use the term 4G-LTE to market their products. But some other users also say otherwise that 4G and LTE actually have different meanings.

4G itself stands for Fourth Generation or fourth generation, which means that the 4G network is the fourth development. Or rather the results of the development of 3G technology. Because it is known that this network itself is the latest generation, then it automatically exceeds all the features that existed in previous generations. In addition to making users able to communicate easily even in realtime even once, 4G apparently also provides facilities to connect to the internet very quickly.

LTE
Whereas LTE; Does LTE itself have a meaning that is directly proportional to 4G? Or just the opposite?

LTE stands for Long Term Evolution, which refers to parts of 4G cellular technology that are not yet perfect. Why is this said? Because basically this 4G network is one of the cellular technologies that requires a minimum speed limit of 100 Mbps. And because network operators in the world have not been able to reach that speed, that's what makes ISP broadband combine the word LTE with 4G.
